Introduction to e-learning in the Gopas computer school

GOPAS computer school has operated in training services provision since 1992. During our years in business we have become familiar with students’ requirements, demands and learning abilities. This experience has enabled us to create of set of electronic self-study courses that seek to deliver the most effective tuition possible.

Courses

Our core product is training courses for work with the various programmes bundled in the MS Office package. All the courses are fully multimedia; they provide tuition in spoken word and text and offer students the chance to immediately try out the subject matter. What is more, each course comes with an initial test that recommends what subject to devote your attention to during training. Besides explanation, the training lessons contain hands-on exercises enabling students to try out the subject matter. Once the course is complete, you can assess your skills with a final test. 

• For corporate clients we offer an advantageous multi-licence programme, which includes regular updating with new courses, integration with company intranet or training management systems, technical support and other services.
• For individuals we offer single-user courses on CD that you can order on-line – click on the left menu

Study

In 2002 we conducted a pilot project to verify the results of our work – we gave employees of ten selected companies access to our training courses in the company intranet environment. At the end of this project, feedback from end users was analysed. This data was then used by ADWISE to draw up a study titled E-learning in practice from a user’s point of view.

If a client wishes, we can arrange tailor-made self-study courses. Our e-learning team will customise courses for the client’s needs. Our experience also means we can advise customers about the way the course will be run so that the chosen training technology delivers the maximum tuition effect.
