Certified ISO 27701 Lead Auditor

This course equips professionals with the practical knowledge and auditing expertise required to audit a privacy information management system (PIMS) based on ISO/IEC 27701:2025. Designed around recognised audit principles, procedures, and techniques, the course enables learners to evaluate the effectiveness of privacy controls, assess compliance requirements, and support continual improvement within organisations that process personally identifiable information (PII).Participants will develop the skills needed to plan, conduct, report, and follow up on ISO/IEC 27701 audits in alignment with ISO 19011, ISO/IEC 17021-1, and ISO/IEC 27706 guidance. Through practical audit activities, discussions, and scenario-based learning, learners will gain confidence in auditing PII controller and PII processor controls while supporting organisational privacy objectives.
