TAP(R):Training Delivery Fundamentals (APMG)

Many workplace professionals are responsible for sharing knowledge, transferring skills or delivering training as part of their role. Effective training involves more than explaining a process or presenting information. It helps people understand what they learn and apply it in the workplace.The TAP® Training Delivery Fundamentals course is a practical two-day programme that introduces the core principles of effective training delivery. You will explore the differences between training and presenting, how to create a positive learning environment, and how to structure short training sessions using the TAP® methodology.You will develop practical skills in setting learning objectives, using questioning techniques, selecting appropriate learning methods and encouraging learner participation. You will also explore how training delivery style, confidence, body language and session structure contribute to an effective learning experience.Throughout the programme, you will work on a training topic of your choice. You will apply the techniques covered as you plan your session, practise elements of your delivery and receive feedback against the TAP® guidelines.By the end of the course, you will have a practical foundation for planning and delivering engaging training sessions that support learning and achieve defined outcomes.
