UML in Examples

The UML in Examples training is a two-day intensive workshop focused on the practical use of the UML language using the best modeling tool in the world, i.e. using pencil and paper. During the training, participants will first work on a specific assignment on their own or in a group and then, based on a joint discussion under the guidance of an experienced lecturer, they will show how to solve a given example with regard to clarity, accuracy and correctness.

One assignment can always be worked out in many ways. The added value of the training lies in acquiring analytical thinking in UML and understanding why some procedures give a result, but others lead to an unambiguous result.

It is necessary to emphasize that this is not a pre-planned explanation of UML (that's what GOC26 is for), but its proper practice. We will of course supplement the necessary missing knowledge, but we will primarily learn based on experience with working out examples.

Most examples will be developed using multiple types of diagrams, as the basis of modeling is to view reality from different perspectives and connect these perspectives to each other.
